Myth 1: Wide Stance Targets the butt more. Truth is a closer stance (hip width) will target the butt more while a wide stance will target the inner thighs more.

Myth 2: You have to drop your butt to the floor. Truth is most people aren't flexible enough to drop that low so go as far as you can with perfect form.

Myth 3: Squats are the best butt exercise. When done correctly barbell squats are one of the best butt building exercises.

Problem is many people arent able to do them correctly because of muscle imbalances and squats will end up doing them more harm them good. If you can do squats correctly then great do them but if you cant there are many other great butt exercises you can do.
